How to Become More Intelligent and Access Your Inner Genius:

The mind is an extraordinary instrument. We have hardly scratched the surface of its potentials. We, in the West, have been subjected to Freud’s view of the mind. Even though a useful map, it leaves out vast territories of deeper intelligences, which exist within you. If you really want to release your untapped potentials, then you will need to understand what is really going on and what you actually have got hidden away.

Your mind is made up of a series of different intelligences. Some of these are called memory packets, others subpersonalities, some are purely biological, which keep your body functioning, and others are the higher intelligences.

The people who are able to open to these higher intelligences are known as geniuses. We see them mainly in the arts in the West. Writers, such as Robert Louis Stevenson, Charles Dickens, Victor Hugo, William Blake, Nietzsche, Wordsworth, Goethe, Stephen King, and countless others. And composers like Mozart, and scientists like Einstein.

All these people discovered that their works would arise into their conscious mind fully written, from somewhere deep within themselves. It was not something that they would have to work out, or think through rationally. A whole symphony, or a scientific formula, or completely written paragraphs or even whole novels, would literally rise to the surface of their consciousness, and they would merely write them down.

In their own words, they just took dictation. They were no more than receivers, the secretaries of the completed work. All they had to do was write down what they were given. They were then recognised as geniuses. Often, the work was so brilliant, or so sublime, or, with the sciences, so insightful, that it would actually change the world.

The average person only glimpses these higher intelligences as tiny pieces of information, which we call intuition. This is because we are blocked by our ordinary minds. We have not been taught how to open to these natural, even though utterly brilliant intelligences.

What the geniuses show, is that there are faculties of higher intelligence within each and every one of us, which are far more inspired and talented than our normal surface minds.

Another extraordinary example is if you look to people who are known as Savants, previously known as Idiot Savants, you can see that they are extremely retarded, compared to the average person, but they have these inexplicable genius abilities in mathematics, music and painting, to name just a few. Some can listen to a piano concerto just once, and, with no formal training in music of any type, can play the whole piece perfectly and effortlessly. These higher intelligences exist in us all, regardless of how well educated, or intellectually challenged, we may be.

So, where do these powers come from and are you able to access them yourself, for use in any area of your life. The answer is a resounding YES. It just requires you to be able to open yourself to them.

Each night, when you go to sleep, you enter the dream world. If you can remember your dreams, you know that they are filled with amazing landscapes, characters, events and adventures, far beyond your own ordinary imagination.

It is in this interior realm where you will discover the higher intelligences as well, but without having to go to sleep. In fact, you learn to wake up to a far greater degree than you imagined possible.

The key is to be able to go deeply into your inner being, while remaining conscious, and to do this regularly, so you open the doors of perception. It is not a process of seeking out these intelligences, but of learning how to cause your attention not to be drawn to your ordinary, surface mind.

It is a new ability you can easily develop, if you apply yourself. The best way to learn to do this is to first master the practice of classical meditation. This allows you to be able to release your attention from its involvements with the chatterings of the ordinary mind. Once you are doing this regularly, you will then find that an inner door literally opens up, and amazing and brilliant insights start to flow to your consciousness, as well as feelings of great joy and pleasure.

Having done this for many years, I have discovered that there is always existing with me, what I call an inner genius. It is like having an invisible person always available to assist me. It is a higher intelligence which knows things, that my rational mind could not conceive of. It has the abilities of direct perception, sometimes called e.s.p., and gives me information about people and opportunities that are absolutely accurate, guiding me to wonderful circumstances, and often saving me a lot of time or unpleasant experiences.

This has come about because of my regular practice of meditation as well as taking creative actions in my work. If you put the request to yourself, in the right way, to access these more intelligent parts of your nature, they will deliver to you benefits and boons in ways which will surprise and amaze you.
